9月9日上午,我校在博文楼1501会议室召开外籍及港澳台教师座谈会,共同庆祝我国第41个教师节。副校长凡明锦出席座谈会并讲话。会议由对外合作交流与校友工作处处长田富平主持。

凡明锦向全体外籍及港澳台教师致以节日的祝福和诚挚的感谢。她表示,各位教师是学校国际化办学进程中不可或缺的重要力量,是文化交流的友好使者。大家怀揣教育理想不远万里,将创新的教学理念、丰富的学术知识和多元的文化视角融入日常教学,显著提升了我校学生的国际竞争力和跨文化沟通能力,为培养具有全球视野的高素质人才和营造开放包容的校园文化氛围作出了突出贡献。她指出,学校当前正处在高质量发展的关键时期,新组建的对外合作交流与校友工作处将进一步拓展业务领域,深化国际国内合作。希望各位教师继续发挥桥梁纽带作用,在国际课程建设、文化交流等方面深化合作,共同开创学校国际化事业发展新局面。
会上,外国语学院美国籍教师Ed、Rita、印度尼西亚籍教师Rinata,经济管理学院巴基斯坦籍教师Awais,政法与历史学院台湾籍教师李天赐分别作了交流发言。他们对学校各级领导和师生给予的关心支持表示衷心感谢,深情回顾了在校工作的美好经历,并表示将把这份温暖转化为工作动力,继续为学校发展贡献智慧与力量。
会后,与会领导向各位教师赠送了精心准备的教师节礼品。此次座谈会的召开,进一步增强了外籍及港澳台教师的归属感和凝聚力,为推进学校国际化战略注入了新的活力。

University Holds Meeting to Celebrate Teachers’ Day with Foreign and Chinese Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan Faculty
On the morning of September 9, our university held a meeting for foreign and Chinese Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan faculty in Meeting Room 1501 of Bowen Building to celebrate China’s 41st Teachers’ Day. Vice President Fan Mingjin attended the meeting and delivered a speech. The event was hosted by Tian Fuping, Director of the Office of External Cooperation, Exchange, and Alumni Affairs.
On behalf of the university,Fan Mingjin extended festive greetings and heartfelt gratitude to all foreign and Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan faculty. She emphasized that these teachers are an indispensable force in the university’s internationalization efforts and serve as friendly ambassadors of cultural exchanges. Bringing their educational ideals across thousands of miles, they have integrated innovative teaching concepts, rich academic knowledge, and diverse cultural perspectives into daily instruction, significantly enhancing our students’ global competitiveness and cross-cultural communication skills, and making outstanding contributions to cultivating high-caliber talents with a global vision and fostering an open and inclusive campus culture. She noted that the university is currently at a critical stage of high-quality development, and the newly established Office of External Cooperation, Exchange, and Alumni Affairs will further expand its scope and deepen domestic and international collaboration. Fan expressed hope that the faculty would continue to serve as bridges, deepening cooperation in international curriculum development and cultural exchanges to jointly create a new chapter in the university’s internationalization efforts.
During the meeting, faculty members, including Edward and Rita from the United States,and Rinata from Indonesia (College of Foreign Languages), Awais from Pakistan (College of Economics and Management), and Li Tianci from Taiwan (College of Political Science, Law and History), shared their experiences. They expressed sincere gratitude for the care and support from the university’s leadership and students, recalled their rewarding time working at the university, and pledged to channel this warmth into motivation, contributing their wisdom and efforts to the university’s development.
Following the meeting, the attending leaders presented carefully prepared Teachers’ Day gifts to the faculty.The successful convening of this meeting further strengthened the sense of belonging and cohesion among foreign and Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan faculty, injecting new vitality into the university’s internationalization strategy.
